After taking early retirement due to family commitments, he started Entrepreneurial Ventures on innovative power electronics,such as simulators and other technological advanced products, also in real estate and the automobile sector, and marketing a wide range of industrial, office and home products and finally settling as the Authorized Dealer for Maruti Suzuki India Ltd.

He was also a member of many Industrial, Trade and Social bodies. All this gave him experience across a wide spectrum of activities which reflect in his writings. Yet beyond these achievements lies another defining aspect of his personality – an extraordinary commitment to learning.
