use a compass or the stars to go where you need to? Would you be able to communicate with people around you and work together for mutual protection and welfare?

Do you possess any skills to help look after your family, and to barter with others for things you may need?
In the old days, just a few decades ago, some of such abilities were part of the curriculum, taught in SCOUTs and GUIDEs classes and camps. Students went on study and awareness trips to not only see Factories and Industries, but also Farms and Dairies and Poultries, Fisheries and Apiaries. They also learnt to work as Carpenters, Tinsmiths and Blacksmiths. Also how to start a fire draw water from wells or streams and make it drinkable. Also, fish, or trap birds and small game and dress and cook a meal? At even today’s levels, how many children learn their parents ancestral trade or capability for fear of being considered as child labour, even in skills that are best learnt when young? Why can’t such learning be part of the education curriculum? They need not be full -time producers, rather be Apprentices, even if only part time. Many such skills need intuition and innovation that AI cannot do, and we cannot afford to lose them or allow them to be forgotten.

So today, in this AI and Machine Age, we need Schools and Universities that recognize that; the neuron growth of a child is at full potential, say 100 percent upto the age of two. It the drops to 50 percent from age two to seven and reduces to only 25 percent thereafter, and plan their Education System accordingly. Languages and memory training from the age of two to seven. Reading and writing can follow, once speaking, grammatically, idiomatically and with understanding of gender, honorifics as the case maybe is learnt.

How to go about it? Use AI to design the Syllabus, under the guidance of people who know what to arrive at. This has been done elsewhere to design syllabus for a Law University. For engaging Teachers committed to the student’s welfare, learn from Finland. For cultural aspects, social respect and discipline, learn from Japan.
Advice to Youngsters:

1). Learn something new every day, especially about Technology.
2). Do something more today than you did yesterday, even if it be only a little.
3). Remember that No Man is an island and, that Rights begin only after duties are met.

Also, that Education today has to be very comprehensive and human oriented, with the ability to use AI and even robotics for greater co-ordination with Nature and better utilization of all available resources in a sustainable manner. Ofcourse AI itself should be held to Dharmic Philosophy of co-operating, not competing with humans. It should also encompass the understanding the meaning of Dharma, our Obligations and Duties and to the Cosmos and our fellow humans. This leads us into a spiritual life where we exercise our choice of our personal Deity and follow the Golden Rule –

DO NOT DEMAND OF OR DO UNTO OTHERS WHAT YOU DO NOT WANT THEM TO DEMAND OR DO UNTO YOU!
